In third and fourth semester two general papers (compulsory for all) and two specialization papers (students can choose any one of the specializations-Condensed Matter Physics and Nuclear& Particle Physics) are offered.
In each semester there will be FOUR theory papers and TWO practical papers. Each theory paper is of FOUR hours of lectures per week.
Each practical paper is of minimum FOUR contact hours per week. These include seminars, tutorials and discussion classes. Internal Assessment (IA) shall be conducted during the semesters.
