JSS Arts,Commerce and Shantikumar Gubbi Science College Alumni Association is an ever growing community of hundreds of students. The association serves as a platform to keep the college connected with its ever growing student community. Interaction between the present and former students witnesses knowledge and experience sharing. The alumni are involved in equipping the students for placements by regular interaction, training and organization of job fairs in the college campus. Some of the alumni are also involved in organizing, assisting and conducting the extra-curricular activities in the college. Also donate their valuable time to offer career support to current students. This enhances the students’ experience and gives them that competitive edge in today's tough job market.

Creating an engaged alumni network is beneficial for us because engaged graduates are much more likely to want to “give back” to the college; that could be, For example by coming back and sharing their experiences with prospective current students.
